Division 04
Full-Stack Engineering
Some work does not fit a category — it is a product that needs building, a system that needs untangling, or a team that needs a senior engineer for a quarter. We take that work: web applications, native iOS apps, APIs, data models, integrations, and the CI/CD and observability that keep them running.
What changes
Boring technology, deliberately
We pick the well-supported option over the clever one. The interesting part of a system should be the problem it solves, not the risk in its dependency tree.
iOS that feels native
Platform conventions, Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, reduced-motion, and haptics are part of the build, not a post-launch accessibility ticket. Apps that fight the platform get uninstalled.
Performance is a requirement
Core Web Vitals budgets, real-device testing, and profiling are part of the definition of done. Sites that are fast in a lab and slow on a phone are not finished.
Handover is part of delivery
Documented architecture, runnable locally, deployed from your repo into your accounts. Every engagement should end with your team able to keep going without us.
What you get
Concrete deliverables
- Web applications and marketing sites on Next.js and TypeScript
- Native iOS apps in Swift and SwiftUI, built to Apple's HIG
- REST and event-driven APIs with typed contracts
- Schema design, migrations, and data modeling
- App Store submission, review handling, and phased release
- CI/CD, preview environments, and rollback strategy
Technical surface
Have a stack constraint we have not listed? Say so on the brief — most of this work is integration, and the constraint usually shapes the design more than the preference does.
Questions
Before you ask
Native — Swift and SwiftUI, built to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, shipped through TestFlight with App Store review and phased release handled. Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, reduced-motion, and haptics are part of the build rather than a post-launch accessibility ticket.
